Wakefield Brunswick Announces New Advisor, JB Lake

We are thrilled to announce that JB Lake, CISR, has joined the Wakefield Brunswick team as an Advisor!

JB brings more than a decade of experience in healthcare risk management, business continuity, and operational resiliency within complex organizational environments. Her background spans the business insurance industry, where she specialized in operational strategy, risk-informed program management, and system optimization across high-stakes settings. With extensive experience managing commercial insurance and risk management programs, JB brings a strong foundation in continuity planning, operational coordination, and enterprise resilience.

Prior to joining Wakefield Brunswick, JB managed enterprise business continuity program activities across a healthcare system spanning seven hospitals, more than 200 clinics, and over 27,000 staff across Minnesota and Wisconsin. She supported continuity plan development, maintenance, and implementation efforts across clinical and operational departments while working closely with emergency management and operational leaders to strengthen organizational preparedness through continuity planning, tabletop exercises, and cross-functional coordination initiatives.

JB also served as the Administrator for her system’s business continuity management platform, supporting enterprise plan management, governance workflows, and continuity tracking processes. Her experience integrating operational planning, technology, and risk-informed decision-making helps organizations strengthen resilience, improve operational readiness, and sustain critical services during disruption.
