JB brings more than a decade of experience in healthcare risk management, business continuity, and operational resiliency within complex organizational environments. Her background spans the business insurance industry, where she specialized in operational strategy, risk-informed program management, and system optimization across high-stakes settings.

We are thrilled to announce that Deanna Latino has joined the Wakefield Brunswick team as a Senior Clinical Advisor! Deanna is a healthcare futurist leader focusing on clinical quality, patient safety, and data-driven transformation. With more than 14 years of experience working across health systems and national medical societies, Deanna has translated complex clinical data into practical strategies to enhance outcomes, reduce risk, and drive cost avoidance.

A recent Healthcare IT News article detailed a cyberattack on Stryker that underscores a rapidly evolving threat to healthcare organizations. The attack resulted in the wiping of more than 200,000 devices, not through ransomware, but through the exploitation of centralized device management infrastructure. This represents a critical shift, as the attack targeted not only systems but also control itself.

Fifteen years ago I founded Wakefield Brunswick. Since that time, we have had the privilege of advising and collaborating with the leading healthcare organizations nationwide. It is a special milestone and I am excited to share new details as we kick off the New Year.
