EXERCISE

DESIGN + CONDUCT

One of the most important components in developing a resilient healthcare organization is to conduct drills and exercises that test the effectiveness of your program. Without establishing an exercise schedule and goals there is no way to know if your program is truly resilient in the face of an emergency or disaster.

Our team has a long history of working with the leading healthcare systems, coalitions, and hospital associations, developing a full range of discussion and operations-based exercises. All our exercises are intentionally designed in a way that allows gaps, deficiencies, and vulnerabilities to be identified and remediated in a constructive environment.

We design scenarios based on current, real-world threats impacting healthcare, allowing partners to operationalize plans in a realistic and engaging manner that allows for a true measure of effectiveness.

Exercise examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Cybersecurity

  • Evacuation

  • Supply chain interruption

  • Business continuity

  • Point of distribution

  • Disaster recovery (IT)
