Shannon brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare resilience, emergency management, and operational continuity across complex hospital and health system environments. Before joining Wakefield Brunswick, she served in senior preparedness and emergency management roles at major academic medical centers, where she led enterprise-wide readiness initiatives, coordinated large-scale incident responses, and guided organizations through multiple CMS and regulatory audits with zero deficiencies.

Shannon has developed and implemented integrated business continuity, emergency operations, and hazard mitigation programs spanning inpatient, ambulatory, and specialty care services, and is known for translating complex regulatory requirements into practical, scalable strategies that strengthen patient safety and operational reliability.

Shannon holds a Juris Doctor and a Master of Public Health, bringing a unique blend of legal, public health, and operational expertise to her work. She is trained in Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) principles, multi-agency coordination, and regulatory compliance frameworks, enabling her to design and facilitate exercises, after-action processes, and multi-year resiliency roadmaps that drive measurable improvement across healthcare systems.

As Wakefield Brunswick’s Senior Director of Strategic Engagement & Delivery, Shannon leads the design, oversight, and execution of complex client engagements nationwide. Her ability to build strong partnerships, elevate organizational performance, and guide health systems through transformational resiliency initiatives makes her a critical asset to the clients and communities we serve.
